聖詠 8:4-10

當我抑觀你手指創造的穹蒼，和你在天上佈置的星辰月亮，世人算什麼，你竟對他懷念不忘﹖人子算什麼，你竟對他眷顧周詳﹖竟使他稍微遜於天神，以尊貴光榮作他冠冕，令他統治你手的造化，將一切放在他的腳下：所有的羊和牛，與野外的走獸，天空的飛鳥和海裏的魚類，及種種游泳於海道的水族。上主，我們的主！你的名號在普世何其美妙！

Psalms 8:4-10

When I see your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and stars that you set in place— What is man that you are mindful of him, and a son of man that you care for him? Yet you have made him little less than a god,* crowned him with glory and honor. You have given him rule over the works of your hands,d put all things at his feet: All sheep and oxen, even the beasts of the field, The birds of the air, the fish of the sea, and whatever swims the paths of the seas. O LORD, our Lord, how awesome is your name through all the earth!
